Making Blog Known By Search Engine

In order to generate traffic from visitors to our blog from search engines, the first step to do is to make our blog indexed by search engines. Or in the language of common people, make our blog "known" by the search engines like google, yahoo and so on.
Why should be indexed / known search engines? Because with our blog known by search engines, then it makes the search engines can refer our blog when there are people looking for a specific keyword. If not known, then we will never referenced by search engines. And consequently, there is rarely datan visitors to our blog.

If in the real world, logic is not known if there will be no people who refer us. Although we say very good in the computer service business, but if we are not known, then people will not mention our name as a candidate when there is a computer services that are needed. Logical is not it?

For example to check if my blog was indexed in google,

* Go to google.com
* Type site: matasehat.com
* If there is a page from matasehat.com appear in search results, it means that blogs are already indexed google. If not, then vice versa.

There are several ways you can do. Depending on where you create your blog.

The first way: let alone indexed.

This method is the easiest way. And apply if you have a blog on blogspot.com address or at wordpress.com.

In this way you only need to wait to google / yahoo / others come to your blog. No need to introduce your blog to search engines - the search engine. Why? Because by default, blogs are listed on blogspot.com and wordpress.com will be registered automatically.

The second way: Manually register to search engines

This method is a second way. Please register your blog directly at URL submission pages of search engines. This method ensures that your blog must be indexed by search engines.

To register, please register your blog to:

* Google, at google.com / addurl
* Yahoo, in siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com
* Bing, the bing.com / docs / submit.aspx

enter a URL (address) of your blog there, fill out the form provided there.

The third way: ask for links from other blogs

The last, try to get links from sites / other blogs that have been indexed by the search engines like google. For example, try asking your friends to give a link to your blog.

Later search engines will automatically follow the link provided by your friends (or other sites) and then to index your blog, such as search engine indexes the web that give you the link.
